Steps to having a working gold mine
It is not impossible to obtain and have a working, profitable gold mine in the U. S. Here are the steps 1. Find a gold mine. You do not need to start from scratch. There are many left over from previous times. Many were closed in World war II, never to reopen. Others started in the 80's but the price of gold dropped so fast many were not reopened. The decline of the dollar and meteoric rise in prices of all commodities, and especially gold and metals have led us to reopen files obtained in 50 some years of evaluating mines for others. 2. Claim the property or get lease from the owner. 3. Evaluate the property. Spend the time. Drill holes. Dig trenches. Get samples. Get the samples assayed. Get advise from qualified professionals. 4. Test, test, test! Get an evaluation of how best to recover the values. The type of ore and surrounding geology determine how best to go about getting the values out. Use a professional. 5. Get approval from any appropriate government agencies-BLM, Forest Service, county government 6. Do a pilot operation. Set up a test mill. Run some typical ore through the mill and evaluate the results. 7. Start operations.
The decline of the dollar and meteoric rise in prices of all commodities, and especially gold and metals have led us to reopen files obtained in 50 some years of evaluating mines for others. We have evaluated many mines the over the past 50 yeas. For a number of reasons many of these mines were never brought to their full potential. Some were closed because the price of the metals dropped below being economical. Some were closed due to trouble between the owners. Some were closed due to war. Some were just plain not good enough to be profitable. Some were closed bcause the technology wasn't available to get the values out. Some were in wilderness or national park areas, no longer in a place where mining can take place. We were curious. What about the files that were accumulated over the past few decades. After all we have been in the business of evaluating properties for others for over 50 years. And there have been many advances in technology that might make some mines profitable now where they weren't decades ago. Were there any properties that have been out there waiting for the right time? We reopened our files. What we found surprised even us. We found gold mines, we found silver and lead and zinc mines all waiting to be opened, or re-opened. We found a number of mines that have the potential of making millions of dollars in profits in todays markets. We found mines that were in major mining areas that somehow were not yet claimed. Here are a few of the mines that have been waiting for the right time to come along to be reopened. And now is the right time. Here is our number 1: Eastgate Gold Project
